Concert fun!

Last night Morgan and I and a bunch of our bestest friends and family were seated in the FRONT row of an awesome concert right at home at the DECC.  We had SUCH a great time.  I hesitated to allow Morgan to experience her first front row concert at such a young age, because she is now forever spoiled when it comes to concerts.  Seats farther back will no longer be good enough.  You can't flirt with the fiddle player with a super cool British accent really from anywhere but right up front.

We got our look on and got ready to go.

Dinner at Old Chicago first.  Drake is totally reminding me of someone in a music video or a movie with that hat and those glasses, and I CAN'T STAND THAT I CAN'T THINK OF IT!  GRR.  Help me out here.

Me with two of my favorite girls in the whole world!!

No, I don't stalk busses.  Why do you ask?

First up was Eric Paslay.  He's been a song writer for a while, and is just trying to get his singing career off the ground.  I liked him.  He sang in tune, which always helps.

I do love me an acoustic guitar with a plaid shirt behind it...

Next up, Thompson Square.

My sissy and her hubs.

These guys were great.  So fun to watch and very talented.

Isn't she gorgeous?

Three of my fave girls waiting for Josh to come out!

Nate and Sam!  Soo cute!

Here he is!  He did not disappoint!  I love that deep voice.

Yes, this is the one who was super cute with a British accent.

Le siiigh...

Loved his dancing!  He was having so much fun performing for us!

Apparently bass drums aren't loud enough without a microphone stuck inside them!

Don't you love it when you are in the front row and you are too close to get a good picture?  Not enough time to zoom out!!!  hehe.

This picture makes me proud to no end.  The girls reaching out to the cute singer, just waiting for a little acknowledgement!  Taking after me so well!!!

Cousins!! LOVE

Such a SUPER fun night!  I had forgotten how much fun live concerts are, and FRONT ROW is definitly the way to go!!

  1. I love that you said you have ruined any other concert seats for Morgs! So true! These photos just seem so stinkin' close! COOL! And you look skinnier already in that photo. No lies. Just sayin'.
