Before I start, I'll warn you that this post is several months overdue. It has been sitting in my drafts waiting for me to write some crap to go with the pictures since March 29th. hehe. But I like these pictures, and I'm proud of Morgan, and so I'm going to share it with you today! Enjoy...
They learned a lot about how the planes work, and how weather can impact a flight.
In fact, the flights had to be rescheduled by a week due to high winds.
I wouldn't want to be riding in this little fella in high winds. How about you?
We lucked out on the makeup day, and although it was COLD out (and yes, we still had that much snow on March 29th) the sun was shining, and the wind was minimal. Perfect flying conditions.
She was a bit apprehensive at first, but she really really enjoyed it.
Back on the ground! They made it!
The rest of these are taken by Morgan!
What a cool city we live in! I wish I could have gone with her to see these views!
Wade Stadium!
Spirit Mountain!
Thank you Duluth Aviation Institute for coming to our school and teaching about aviation, and donating these rides to the kids! It was a really cool incentive for the kids to work hard on the unit!
